Who we are
Daneh is a 501c3 nonprofit organization focused on supporting families in desperate need while preserving their dignity. By using the family structure and the role of mothers, we help families achieve sustainability. In addition, we use data science to constantly optimize our approaches toward achieving sustainability.
Inspiration
The Seed Market

Where, with your one rose you can buy hundreds of rose gardens?

Have you wondered how a forest was born, a herd of deer was created, or a flower garden emerged from the wet soil? The beginning of it all is a seed. It’s a strong metaphor for sure, but also a transparent model. A model to take mankind from miserable wastelands to green pastures.
Daneh.org started with this model as its foundation. We will spread the seeds, measure, optimize, and enhance our “sustainability-loops”.
Our Approach
Sustainability
We strive for building sustainability loops. The goal is to minimize the frequency of help to a family. Specifically, help is considered an investment. A seed that will multiply and support the family in the long term.
Data for Sustainability
The key to creating sustainability loops is to make sure we track our approaches and optimize them constantly. To do that we will build a simple data-tracking App using bite-size questions via WhatsApp. This data will be tracked by the
case managers.
Dignity
Resources are a responsibility. Distribution of resources from one person to another is an obligation. Giving charity, and supporting other people is hence an obligation. Therefore, we should take extra care in making sure everyone is treated with dignity. Ultimate dignity for a man is when they are no longer in need of others. Specifically, our organization will ensure two things:
- We will make sure our conduct is graceful and we communicate that it is our obligation to distribute our resources. This is not just charity.
- We continuously focus on creating sustainability-loops.
Technology
Usually, the simplest technology is the most beneficial. At Daneh.org we will strive to use technology in its simplest form to gain the highest level of transparency and efficiency.
